Senior Financial Analyst (Part-time, off-site role)
Role Description:
This is a part-time, off-site role (for candidates located in Lebanon, India, and Egypt) for a Senior Financial Analyst at The Edge for Economic Consultancy Company W.L.L Working hours are flexible, yet deliverables should be met on time. Ideal candidate will have the below qualifications and be expected to deliver on the below specified duties and responsibilities:
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience of at least 10 years as a Financial Analyst with deep knowledge in equity valuations, industry research reports, and feasibility studies, or in a similar analytical role
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with experience in Excel (e.g., financial models, advanced formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and visualization)
- In-depth understanding of equity research, financial markets, industry trends, and economic factors that affect investment opportunities
- Experience in conducting feasibility studies and market research for new projects or business ventures
- Proficiency in financial data and analytics platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or similar)
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data analysis, reporting, and financial forecasting
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (CFA, FRM, or similar) is a plus
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare industry and market sector research reports providing notes on industry trends and specific market segments
- Build financial models to forecast business performance and assess business valuations
- Update financial models as required to reflect market trends and economic developments that may impact assessed performance and valuations
- Provide a research brief of equity research reports, analyzing financial statements, market trends, and economic conditions
- Perform detailed feasibility studies for new business ventures and projects, including financial projections, market analysis, and risk assessments to analyze viability and challenges
- Evaluate and analyze company performance and position through ratio analysis, industry comparisons, and other financial metrics
- Assist in preparing financial presentations and reports for stakeholders, including the management and clients
- Participate in meetings with the management and clients as may be required by the management, providing research-based insights and answering questions on financial performance and market trends
- Ensure compliance with industry international standards when conducting research and studies
- Other financial analysis tasks as requested by the management

Finance & Administration Officer (Full-time, on-site role)
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance & Administration Officer at The Edge for Economic Consultancy Company W.L.L to support the daily operations of the business. The candidate should currently be residing in Kuwait. Ideal candidate will have the below qualifications and be expected to deliver on the below specified duties and responsibilities:
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar Finance & Administration role
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with good Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, data visualization)
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, experience with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial record-keeping and administrative tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Educational Requirements: A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, relevant certifications such as a Diploma in Accounting/Finance and Office Administration
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy
- Assist in preparing monthly and yearly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Monitor and reconcile company bank accounts and credit card transactions to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, working with the management to provide financial insights and ensure budgetary compliance
- Maintain records of all financial transactions and file financial documents (physical and digital) for easy access and audit purposes
- Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and facilitating the timely issuance of audited financial statements
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees, including maintaining payroll records
- Manage relationships with banks, including overseeing cash management, initiating wire transfers, negotiating and monitoring bank terms, and ensuring smooth banking operations
- Write and distribute financial correspondence, including emails, memos, and letters
- Prepare reports and presentations for the management, including financial and budget updates
- Handle administrative tasks related to government entities in Kuwait, including but not limited to maintaining and updating company mandate papers (licenses and otherwise) and renewing and issuing work permits and visas, all while ensuring compliance with Labor, Residency, and Commercial Companies Laws.

Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Secretary & Coordinator at The Edge for Economic Consultancy Company W.L.L. to support the daily operations of the business. The candidate should currently be residing in Kuwait. Ideal candidate will have the below qualifications and be expected to deliver on the below specified duties and responsibilities:
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience of at least five years in a similar administrative role
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn other office applications as may be deemed required
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic
- Strong organizational skills as it relates to planning and coordinating tasks
- High level of professionalism when interacting with clients’ calls/enquiries and office team’s calls/requests
- Ability to work under pressure
- High attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Educational Requirements: university degree or secretarial certification (such as a Diploma in Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, MIS, or equivalent)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage client calls and inquiries whilst ensuring a positive company image
- Answer and direct phone calls to concerned department/personnel
- Write and distribute emails, memos, and letters
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system for both physical and digital records
- Ensure that most current versions of office policies and procedures are maintained and accessible to staff
- Maintain office supplies inventory and identify suppliers for cost-effective orders
- Coordinate office maintenance works and liaise with external vendors as necessary
