Hisham Zaghloul is the Founder and Senior Managing Partner of The Edge for Economic Consultancy, established in 2024. With over 25 years of executive experience across the MENA region, Hisham is a seasoned banking and finance professional known for his strategic leadership and cross-border expertise in business development, Islamic finance, and institutional restructuring.

He has held several senior leadership roles, including Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer- Banking Group at Ahli United Bank (Kuwait), Board Member at Ahli United Bank (Egypt), Board Member at Commercial Bank of Iraq (Iraq), Board Member at United Bank for Commerce & Investment (Libya), Chairman of the Board at KMEFIC (Kuwait), and Vice Chairman of the Board at MEFIC Capital (Saudi Arabia). He has also served on multiple boards and high-level committees, contributing to strategic direction and governance in both conventional and Islamic financial institutions.

Hisham holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics & Political Science – English Section – Cairo University. His approach blends strategic direction, institutional restructuring and transformation along with business enhancement. 

Dina Tayara is a seasoned financial expert with over 25 years of experience, including leadership roles in corporate banking, Islamic finance, and digital transformation. Before co-founding The Edge for Economic Consultancy in 2024, she held executive roles at Ahli United Bank – Kuwait, last of which as Senior General Manager, where she led major divisions such as Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions and SMEs, held membership positions in multiple bank committees, and played a key role in strategic planning, portfolio and risk management, training, policies formulation, and business process reengineering. 

Dina holds an MBA and BBA from the American University of Beirut. Her approach blends deep financial knowledge with a commitment to innovation, transformation, and sustainable growth.

Ammar Khanfar is a banking and finance professional with over 20 years of experience across Kuwait, Jordan, and Libya. As Co-Founder and Managing Partner at The Edge for Economic Consultancy Company, he brings deep expertise in corporate banking, Islamic finance, risk management, and digital transformation.

Prior to establishing The Edge in 2024, Ammar served as Deputy General Manager of Corporate Banking at Ahli United Bank – Kuwait, where he led diverse sector portfolios and played a key role in credit structuring, client relationship management, and portfolio growth. His career spans leadership roles that have strengthened institutional performance through a strategic and client-centric approach.

Ammar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Jordan and is a Certified Islamic Banker (CIB). His professional approach emphasizes practical financial solutions, business growth, and operational efficiency.
